Your First Visit Coming to a church for the first time can raise some questions. How do I get there? What about the kids? What should I wear? What should I expect? We hope that this section will be helpful.
Getting There We meet in the Canoe Creek Charter School located at 3600 Canoe Creek Rd. When you get there follow the signs and look for the first time visitor parking spots. There will be someone there to greet you and guide you and your kids to your Fellowship Groups or to the services.
What to Wear We are more interested in getting to know you then what you are wearing. Dress casually and you will fit in.
What about My Kids We have a full range of children’s classes; from the babies to the high school. Our staff and volunteers are dedicated to providing a safe comfortable environment for your children. During our fellowship groups from 9:15-10:30 and during our service time 10:30-11:30 there are places for your children to learn, enjoy, and play. Some people ask if they can bring their baby into the service with them and our answer is yes. We just ask that you step outside if the child begins to distract the others sitting around you. What to Expect Expect a fellowship type atmosphere. We have always been described as a comfortable church where you feel welcomed. We want everyone to feel comfortable enough to return again to hear a relevant message that challenges you and moves you outside you comfort zone. The fellowship groups and the service are designed to help us understand and be reminded of how the word of God is still very relevant to the issues we face today and how God’s word can change our lives if we are willing to face the challenge.
